Application Scope
Sodium benzoate is extensively used as preservative in food,pharmacy,cigarette
industry.For food industry,sodium benzoate mainly serves in soy,vinegar,fruit
juice,souce,fruit syrup,canned food,grape wine,fruit wine,agar soft
sweets,light sparkling wine,soda waters and beverage.For medicine
making,it mainly used in traditional Chinese medicine and western
style medicine tablets.Sodium benzoate is used in mildew prevention
and sterilization of cut tabacco.It also works as dying agent in
printing and dying industry and plastifier in rubber & plastic
industry.
